About Us

Blair and I are a 3rd generation Hereford family, making our girls 4th generation Hereford breeders. We met through the industry, grew up showing and working cattle, and simply love this lifestyle regardless of the ups and downs agriculture throws us! Throughout the years we have found that the Hereford cattle really do hold up through all conditions our climate throws us, wether it be through the drought years or the coldest winters, they are ranch cattle and are not pampered, they are the real deal. The industry has forgotten the important traits Herefords have to offer.  Our cows are low maintenance, grazing corn all winter and calving out on a quarter section of grass with minimal handling in the spring. We value the maternal side of our genetics greatly. With all of our stock we start from the bottom up with good feet, they have to be structurally sound. Good udders and lots of hair is also extremely important. Wether it be the cattle horses or dogs we like good bone under our animals!   We also value temperament highly, being that our three young girls work right alongside side us. We like our animals to have a good mind and don't tolerate crazy!   Blair has broke registered ranch geldings his entire life, and most of our ranch work is done horseback. With our love of horses and cattle, and  always striving to produce the most correct and efficient genetics, I found myself also falling in love with Miniature Australian Shepherds. This is our latest venture, but just as we love trying to raise and provide our customers with the best cattle and horses we doing the same with  our mini Aussies.
